Victoria Carpets has a rich heritage in flooring. Its Australian operations commenced on the current site in Dandenong in 1954. Only the fourth company to begin manufacturing carpets in Australia, Victoria Carpets now operate two sites in Victoria and employ more than 200 people. Operations at the Dandenong plant include carpet manufacturing, sampling, sales and administration. In Bendigo, a state of the art wool processing and spinning mill produces international quality yarns that are used in the Dandenong plant. The increasing use of new materials, including synthetic yarns, has seen Victoria Carpets evolve from being a predominantly wool house, to a contemporary manufacturer, supplying a wide variety of tufted carpets to meet today’s market demands.
Since 1980 Supertuft has been manufacturing premium quality wool carpet in innovative colours for residential and commercial use. The products and extensive colour range allow customers additional scope to develop exciting new interiors. The range extends from deep chocolate, coffee, beige and black, through to vibrant greens, reds and burnt orange making it one of the most colourful carpet ranges available in Australian today. The range incorporates twist piles, plush, loop piles and two tone effect twist piles that are exclusive to the Supertuft range. Supertuft only uses premium quality wool fibre.
